In this role, you'll work closely with our European Accounting Manager and wider operational teams across UK and Europe. We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join our successful Accounts team in an exciting business. You'll play a key part in delivering accurate financial information, supporting core accounting processes, and helping us continuously improve how we work. What You'll Be Doing: You will support a wide range of accounting activities, including: Preparing timely and accurate journal entries such as accruals, prepayments, deferrals and intercompany transactions Working with UK and overseas teams to ensure UK GAAP compliance for our EU Hotel revenues and expenses Managing and issuing European multi-currency invoicing for Hotel/Rentals Operations andsupporting payment collection Creating UK invoices on Oracle AR Overseeing commissions payable processes for external travel agents Partnering with our Operations Accounting Manager to identify improvements and streamline processes What We're Looking For We're proud to be a Leader in the vacation ownership industry and our success is driven by our talented Team Members. To thrive in this role, you'll bring: Essential Experience and Qualifications Part qualified Accountant, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or AAT (or part qualified by experience) OR strong operational/system experience (eg.
