The Role
This is a senior finance position responsible for leading the financial planning and analysis function, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and performance analysis. You will manage a team of finance professionals across multiple operational areas, ensuring the delivery of accurate, insightful financial information to support decision-making at senior leadership and board level.
You'll play a key role in shaping financial strategy, building robust financial models, and providing clear visibility on business performance, risks, and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor and strengthen a multi-disciplinary finance team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture
* Take ownership of the annual budgeting cycle and longer-term financial planning strategy
* Produce high-quality forecasts and deliver meaningful financial insight to support decision-making
* Manage the production of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and balance sheet reviews
* Develop and present clear, concise board reports and key financial metrics
* Work closely with operational teams to provide financial guidance and support commercial initiatives
* Drive ongoing enhancements to financial processes, controls, and reporting frameworks

Candidate Profile
We are keen to engage candidates who meet the following criteria:
* Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ICAS or equivalent)
* Proven experience within FP&A, including leadership responsibility
* Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
* Ability to communicate complex financial information to senior stakeholders
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
* Experience within a complex, operationally driven business is highly advantageous
