Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer (Elec Bias)- Avonmouth

Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving production machinery to ensure minimal downtime while adhering to health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with all health and safety policies and regulations.
* Diagnose and resolve equipment breakdowns efficiently.
* Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
* Conduct risk assessments and implement necessary controls to mitigate risks.
* Lock off any hazardous machinery immediately and carry out necessary repairs.
* Proactively complete PMs on offline machinery when possible.
* Maintain accurate records, including PM sheets, maintenance logs, and computer system updates.
* Collaborate with production teams to quickly diagnose and resolve machinery faults.
* Communicate professionally with external contractors and suppliers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* HNC, City & Guilds, or time-served apprenticeship with relevant engineering qualifications.
* Experience in a similar role, preferably within a food manufacturing environment (other manufacturing experience considered).
* Electrically biased or multi-skilled engineer.
* PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems experience is highly desirable.
* Flexible and proactive approach with a positive can-do attitude.
* Experience with SAP is a plus.
Salary & Benefits:
* Salary: Up to £49,434 per annum
* Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays
* Overtime: Available (Saturday x1.5, Sunday x2) 8 or 10-hour shifts

Working Hours:
* AM Shift: 06:00 - 14:00 (Monday to Friday)
* PM Shift: 14:00 - 22:00 (Monday to Friday)
* Night Shift: 22:00 - 06:00 (Sunday to Friday morning)
* Day Shift: Monday to Saturday with a day off during the week
