The Role We're hiring an Engineering Manager to own people management for our five-person dev team and the delivery process that supports them. Day to day, you'll run 1:1s, appraisals, and performance conversations. You'll own the rhythm of how work gets done — standups, sprint cadence, triage — working alongside our Project Manager on coordination and our Lead Developer on technical direction. You'll adapt processes to how each developer works best, and act as a buffer between the team and external noise. We expect you to be fluent with AI development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or equivalent) and to use them daily — for reviewing PRs, triaging bugs, building lightweight automations, and finding ways to make the team faster. This isn't a side interest; it's how we work.
