ATR-Port Salford-Shift Controller-WEF ASAP
1. Full-time
2. To effectively motivate a team of people to meet production targets
3. Ensure the final product meets client specifications (SPI) including management of BarTender case label system
4. To effectively maximise production efficiency to ensure plan is met on a hourly/daily basis
5. Effectively use the integrated management systems (VISION) including Vision Planning, Customer Reporting and Line App card maintenance
6. To adhere to and promote best practice in accordance with company health, safety and quality regulations
7. To ensure all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company procedures
8. To ensure that all areas comply with hygienic audits, both internal and external
9. To ensure GMP (good manufacturing practices) and housekeeping (clean as you go) are strictly adhered to
10. Assist in the development of a skills matrix for all production workers
11. To attend Line leader meetings, and relevant training courses, as and when required
12. To assist in the identification and development of Line Leaders to promote success planning
13. To assist in the training and maintaining of the Nvolve system
14. To act as a role model for best practice
15. Monitor, control and minimise waste
16. Play an active part in continuous improvement
17. To conduct RTW’s for line workers
18. To participate in the company’s PDP program
19. To conduct disciplinary investigations in accordance with company procedure
20. Drive own personal development through training and work based experience
21. Manage the output of assigned production and effectively deal with issues as and when they arise.
22. Cover for the Production Controller / QA in his/her absence.
23. Liaise with customers and clients as and when required.
24. Must be prepared to cover a variety of shifts to represent the management team
25. To undertake such other duties as may be required from time to time, that reasonably fall within the scope and grade of the post
