Do you have a creative flare & want to make a difference everyday?
We are looking for a Wellbeing Coordinator with creative flare and out-of-the box thinking to organise, run events and activities for our residents. From pumpkin-carving, to budding gardening, crafts and more - no two days will ever be the same as you support our residents to try new things and ensure they feel connected with the wider community.
What you will be doing: It's hard to capture everything but we've jotted down a few key parts of the role below:
* Organise varied activities within the Home to cater for a variety of interests and life stories for individuals, small groups and large numbers of residents.
* Meet targets set out to improve our resident's lives which includes getting to know every resident through our 'Resident of the Day' programme
* Work together with other local community groups and the wider local area.
* Bring fun, ideas, and energy into our residents' lives Inspire others through great relationships, to deliver a range of thought-provoking wellbeing ideas
* Coordinate a wide range of trips & experiences within the local area for small groups & individuals
* Arrange key events throughout the year, such as seasonal celebrations & charity events
About You:
We are looking for someone who is friendly, welcoming, and entertaining, and would ensure all activities are appropriate for all residents.
* An understanding of care sector would be advantageous
* Have a friendly & caring attitude
* Good planning & development skills
* Able to engage well with the residents and their families
* Be proactive, passionate, and supportive team player, with experience of maintaining the highest levels of customer service.
* You will be going out and about, networking, planning activities and with residents therefore having access to your own vehicle with business Insurance is essential
