Spire Shawfair Park Hospital in Edinburgh has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Children's Nurse to join our team on a bank basis
Duties and responsibilities:
* Delivering excellent pre and post -surgical care to paediatric patients
* Assisting in clinics, minor operations and recovery
* Assist in the delivery of family centred care to meet the health and wellbeing needs of patients.
* Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information.
* Develop own knowledge and skills and that of others.
* Promotes best Practise in Health and Safety, security, and safeguarding the welfare of children.
Who we're looking for:
* Be NMC registered Nurse with a Children's qualification - your pin should not have any restrictions or conditions
* Previous experience within a surgical setting would be advantageous
* Paediatric CCU experience would be advantageous but not essential
* Recovery experience would be ideal, however training can be given
* Flexibility is essential for this opportunity
