We are seeking an ambitious, passionate Maths practitioner to join our team as Subject Progress Lead Science. This role is ideal for a teacher who is ready to influence whole school practice, support colleagues, and drive student progress across the department.


Key Responsibilities

Support curriculum leaders to raise attainment and enhance teaching practice.

Lead and manage student support strategies within Science.

Analyse data to inform interventions and monitor progress.

Contribute to strategic planning for teaching and learning improvements.

Support professional development through coaching, CPD, and learning walks.

Establish high quality teaching standards and share best practice.

Produce monitoring reports and evaluate the impact of support programmes.

Communicate effectively with staff, SLT, external partners, and stakeholders.

Assist with day‑to‑day departmental operations and resource management.

Act as a form tutor and contribute to wider pastoral care.


About You

We’re looking for an excellent classroom teacher who is: Passionate about pedagogy and improving outcomes; Skilled in coaching and developing colleagues; Confident analysing data and shaping interventions; Collaborative, reflective, and committed to driving high standards.
