Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team specialising in landscape maintenance and groundwork services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of gardening, green care, and maintenance tasks, with the ability to operate various tools and machinery. This role offers an opportunity to work outdoors on a diverse landscape, contributing to the enhancement and upkeep of our Golf Course and surrounding areas. The position is paid and suitable for individuals passionate about golf, green care, and maintenance.
Duties
* Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, pruning, planting, and fertilising to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal.
* Operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers, and lawnmowers safely and efficiently.
* Use hand tools for planting, edging, and general green care.
* Maintain irrigation systems, including installation, repair, and routine checks to ensure optimal water distribution.
* Operate heavy machinery such as excavators for larger landscaping projects or site preparation.
* Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and machinery to ensure safety and efficiency.
* Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality results within specified timeframes.
* Ensure all work areas are kept clean and safe in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
* Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is highly desirable.
* Mechanical knowledge related to the operation and maintenance of power tools and machinery such as excavators and irrigation systems is desirable.
* Familiarity with hand tools used in gardening and construction tasks.
* Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
* Basic understanding of Green Keeping/ Lawn care.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in maintaining equipment and our course.
* Physical fitness suitable for outdoor labour involving lifting, digging, and operating machinery over extended periods.

Pay: From £12.21 per hour
