We are excited to recruit a Warehouse Operative based at our Newcastle Upon Tyne warehouse. This full-time role is Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00.
The successful candidate will work as part of a team in a busy, fast-paced warehouse, under the guidance of warehouse leadership. Responsibilities include picking and packing orders, meeting courier deadlines, receiving deliveries, stock checking, locating stock safely, and maintaining excellent housekeeping standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Picking and packing customer orders accurately using Hand Held Scanners (Despatch)
* Stock taking and checking
* Receiving stock and supplies (Goods In)
* Inspecting goods for quantity and quality (Goods In)
* Processing customer returns and paperwork (Goods In)
* Booking POs and locating stock using the OrderWise system and scanners (Goods In)
* Storing stock in designated safe areas (Goods In)
* Keeping paperwork up to date
* Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Additional Responsibilities:
* Operating forklift counterbalance and stacker trucks (trained staff only)
* Entering information into DHL/courier systems
* Preparing pallets for courier collection
* Loading and unloading vehicles
* Maintaining warehouse machinery
* Using the baler, including bale removal (training provided)
Experience and Skills:

* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, and Outlook
* Experience with WMS systems, particularly OrderWise, and use of handheld scanners
