We are recruiting on behalf of a leading social housing contractor who are seeking a proactive Commercial Administrator to join their busy team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills to support the commercial function on refurbishment and maintenance projects within the housing sector.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the commercial team, including document control and filing.
Assist with processing subcontractor payments, invoices, and purchase orders.
Maintain accurate records of contracts, variations, and cost reports.
Support the preparation of tenders, valuations, and commercial documentation.
Liaise with project teams, clients, and supply chain to ensure smooth flow of information.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and deadlines.
Desirable Experience & Skills:
Previous administration experience (commercial/construction background desirable).
Strong IT skills, particularly Excel and document management systems.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Confident communicator with a proactive, can-do attitude.
