The Opportunity
Working within one of the most active and respected Landlord & Tenant teams in Scotland, you will be responsible for providing expert advice to a prestigious client base of institutional landlords, property companies, and corporate occupiers across the office, industrial, and retail sectors.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Managing rent reviews and lease renewal negotiations on behalf of both landlords and tenants.
* Identifying and executing lease re-gearing and restructuring opportunities to add value for clients.
* Providing strategic advice on lease clauses, break options, and surrender negotiations.
* Preparing submissions for third-party dispute resolution (Arbitration/Independent Expert).
* Collaborating with Capital Markets and Agency teams to provide joined-up advice to clients.
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives.
About You
We are looking to speak with driven individuals who are passionate about building a career in Lease Advisory. The role can be tailored to suit a recently qualified Surveyor or a more established Senior Surveyor.
Essential criteria:
* MRICS qualified Chartered Surveyor.
* Demonstrable post-qualification experience within a commercial Lease Advisory / Landlord & Tenant role.
* A strong understanding of relevant legislation.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and report-writing skills.
* Commercially astute with a client-centric approach.
* A motivated team player with the ability to work autonomously.
