The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our committed team. You will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning, delivering small group and individual interventions, and leading whole-class sessions under the direction of the class teacher.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people who may have previously struggled in mainstream education.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver lessons by following the teachers lesson plans
* Lead interventions to help pupils achieve academic and social targets.
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing in line with the school’s ethos.
* Support pupils with SEMH needs in developing resilience and self-regulation skills.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff.
* Contribute to planning, assessment, and review of pupil progress.

* Holds HLTA status
* Has experience working with children with SEMH or additional learning needs.
* Is patient, resilient, and able to build positive, trusting relationships.
* Demonstrates excellent communication and teamwork skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
