You’ll work closely with the Financial Accountant and Controller, playing a key role in preparing accurate financial information, supporting month-end processes, and ensuring robust financial controls are maintained. This is a great role for someone who wants to develop their accounting skills while contributing to a business that continues to expand both locally and internationally.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist with month-end processes including accruals, prepayments, and journals
* Maintain the fixed asset register and perform key balance sheet reconciliations
* Support the preparation of management accounts and financial reports
* Process and reconcile purchase ledger and sales ledger transactions
* Assist with cash flow forecasting and variance analysis
* Work with internal teams and external auditors to support year-end activities
* Identify and suggest process improvements within the finance function
Skills & Experience Required
* Part-qualified or qualified by experience accountant
* Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant or Accounts Assistant role
* Proficient in Excel and confident using accounting software (e.g., Sage, SAP, Oracle)
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
