Job Title: English and Maths GCSE Outreach Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Earls Colne Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Deliver high-quality English and Maths GCSE tutoring to students in the local community Plan and prepare engaging lessons tailored to individual student needs Provide support and guidance to help students improve their understanding and grades Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians Collaborate with other tutors and educators to share best practises Required Qualifications: Qualified teacher status (QTS) Strong knowledge of the English and Maths GCSE curriculum Experience in tutoring or teaching English and Maths at the GCSE level Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience at the GCSE level Knowledge and Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to motivate and inspire students Strong organisational and time management skills Adaptability and patience when working with students of varying abilities Working Conditions: Part-Time hours with flexibility in scheduling Work primarily in learners homes or local libraries Opportunity to make a positive impact on students' academic success All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
