We are seeking an experienced Level Designer for a 3 month Fixed Task Contract, with proven level design skills & experience working on Console titles, to join our award-winning team. This is a great opportunity to work with a team of passionate and experienced designers on a AAA project.
Requirements
1. Experience working as a Level Designer on at least one published console title.
2. Experience of helping to plan and schedule workflows.
3. A strong grasp of level flow, metrics & pacing.
4. A good visual eye for scene setting, sight lines, vistas and areas of interest.
5. Proven experience working within Unreal Engine 5, as well as with Blue Scripting.
6. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with a creative and multidisciplinary team.
7. Level design experience for third person action games is a benefit.
8. Enjoys a creative challenge with the passion and motivation to make great games
RESPONSIBILITIES
9. Addressing client feedback within existing levels
10. Working closely with an existing Level Design and Art team
11. Geometry changes where required
12. Improvements to combat encounters where needed
13. Level Scripting changes/improvements
14. Bug Fixing
15. Polish to exiting levels
