We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a large central facilities building. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing on-site construction, ensuring work progresses safely and in line with quality expectations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing the on-site delivery of the front-of-house building from pre-construction to handover, overseeing site managers and supervisors.
* Taking responsibility for work progressing safely and in line with Kier standards.
* Developing detailed plans commensurate with the overall project plan to ensure material, resource, and supply chain management.
* Managing the supply chain to deliver projects to time, cost, quality, safety, and sustainability requirements.
* Ensuring works comply with the Business Management System.
* Mentoring, managing, and escalating issues for the site team, sharing knowledge and experience to develop others.
* Reporting directly to the operations manager, providing regular updates on progress and addressing emerging challenges through collaboration.
* Maintaining effective records for project delivery.
Requirements for this role include:
* Demonstrated experience in delivering large building projects as a project manager.
* Relevant Construction Management Qualification (Degree/HND/SVQ).
* Proficiency in IT, including Word, Excel, ASTA Power Project, or Microsoft Project.
* Holding 5-day SMSTS, CSCS Card, First Aid Cert, and Full UK Driving Licence.
