About Our Client
WorkPac are proud to partner with our client, a leading global provider of commercial explosives and blasting systems. We are currently seeking MPU Trainees to join their team in the Hunter Valley region. This is a great opportunity for individuals wanting to kickstart a long-term career in the mining and explosives industry.
What You Will Be Doing
* Assisting in the operation of Mobile Processing Units (MPU) on mine sites
* Supporting blast crew with safe and timely delivery of bulk explosives
* Following all safety procedures and site protocols
* Participating in training to obtain necessary licenses and competencies
What You Will Need
* Current C Class Drivers Licence
* Ability to pass a 043 Coal Board Medical and regular drug and alcohol testing
* Strong commitment to safety and a willingness to learn
Must Be Willing To Obtain At Own Cost
* HR Truck Licence
* UHL (Explosives) Licence
