Our client, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of commercial audio solutions, is looking for an experienced Technical Services Manager to lead and manage the continued growth and development of their already established and highly renowned technical service capabilities including pre-sales and system design, installation and commissioning, and post sales technical support.
As Technical Services Manager, you will lead a team of 7 Application Engineers across the United Kingdom, overseeing the broader capabilities and structure of the team, working hands on when needed, and ensuring the highest standards in all things technical, commercial and customer experience. You will be a strong communicator and leader who is able to connect with your team, while also playing an active role with your senior leadership colleagues and contributing to the company’s continued success through your onward strategic leadership of the technical services function within the business.
As someone who is experienced and knowledgeable at a product, application and AV solution level, part of your role will be to take a lead in supplier and vendor liaison, having an important voice on future product development and technology roadmap discussions.
In addition to your active technical leadership role within the business, you shall also be actively engaged with customers and business partners, maintaining regular contact and dialogue on technical and product matters but also playing a wider role at a business relationship level. Attendance at industry networking events, conferences and technical forums with be a key part of your activity and will enable you to continue to develop your profile and standing in the AV industry.
