As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Operations Manager / Installation Manager to help ensure our projects are delivered smoothly, efficiently and to the highest standards.
The Role
This is a key operational leadership role responsible for planning and delivering Tecna’s installation programme.
You will ensure that Pre-Builds, Installs and Dismantles are properly scheduled, resourced and delivered, working closely with the Head of Operations, Warehouse Manager and Production Manager.
The role combines operational planning with hands-on leadership, ensuring projects are organised in advance and delivered effectively both in the workshop and on-site.
You will line manage the Installation Technicians, coordinate subcontract labour, manage operational logistics and ensure installations run safely, efficiently and to Tecna’s quality standards.
Success in this role means installations run smoothly, teams are well prepared, and issues are anticipated and resolved before they impact delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and maintain the installation schedule for Pre-Builds, Installs and Dismantles
* Ensure projects are properly resourced with labour, vehicles and logistics
* Manage and lead the Installation Technician team
* Coordinate subcontract labour and monitor operational capacity
* Ensure Pre-Builds, Installs and Dismantles run efficiently and to Tecna’s standards
* Work closely with warehouse and production teams to ensure projects flow smoothly
* Manage operational logistics including vehicles, travel and accommodation
* Maintain strong Health & Safety standards across all operational activities
* Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and workflows
* Support the use of planning systems and operational tools to improve scheduling and resource visibility
About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, practical and comfortable managing both people and operational planning.
You will likely have experience in events, exhibitions, production, construction or a similar operational environment.
You should have:
* Strong planning and scheduling experience
* Experience managing teams in fast-paced operational environments
* Excellent organisational and logistical awareness
* A proactive, problem-solving mindset
* A hands-on leadership style
* A strong commitment to safety and quality standards
Experience with project planning or scheduling tools (such as Monday.com) would be advantageous.
