Electrical QA Engineer – Cambridge
ARC is currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join a long-term project running until April 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a major electrical installation project, ensuring all works are delivered to the highest quality and compliance standards.
Electrical QA Responsibilities
* Carry out quality inspections on electrical installations
* Ensure all works comply with drawings, specifications, and regulations
* Complete ITPs, snag lists, and quality documentation
* Liaise with site managers, engineers, and subcontractors
* Monitor testing & commissioning processes
* Ensure compliance with BS7671 and project QA procedures
* Support handover and final quality sign-off
Electrical QA Requirements
* Proven experience in an Electrical QA / Quality role
* Strong knowledge of electrical standards and regulations (BS7671)
* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
* Experience completing QA paperwork and inspections
* SSSTS / SMSTS (preferred)
* ECS / JIB Card (preferred)
* Strong attention to detail and communication skills
