Key Responsibilities
* Manage the day-to-day banking and cashiering functions for a portfolio of insolvency cases (including administrations, CVLs, MVLs, bankruptcies, etc.)
* Open and maintain client bank accounts in accordance with insolvency regulations and firm protocols
* Process payments to creditors, employees, HMRC, and other stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and authorisation
* Carry out regular and accurate bank reconciliations for insolvency estates
* Monitor and record all financial transactions using case management and accounting systems (e.g., IPS, Turnkey, or equivalent)
* Assist in the preparation of statutory financial reports and returns to regulatory bodies and creditors
* Liaise with banks, internal teams, and third parties to resolve payment queries or discrepancies
* Support the insolvency team with general administrative and financial tasks as required
* Follow strict compliance and regulatory standards in every aspect of the work that you do
Key Skills required
* Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
* Good understanding of insolvency procedures and regulatory compliance
* Excellent numeracy and analytical skills
* Ability to manage a high volume of transactions and maintain robust records
* Discreet, reliable, and trustworthy when handling confidential information
* Comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider team
