We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed professional to join us as a Teaching Assistant.
The Successful Candidate Will
* Mentor, support, and inspire learners by assisting with curriculum-based activities in the classroom, on home tuition, outreach, and outdoor activities.
* Assist in preparing learning materials and contribute to achieving learning objectives with a focus on behavioral management.
* Provide daily reports on learners’ progress and identify barriers to learning.
* Interact regularly with parents and caregivers.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have
* A passionate commitment to supporting students with SEND.
* Minimum of two years’ experience working in a SEND environment or similar setting.
* QTS/QTLS qualification is advantageous.

At Unity College
A warm welcome to Unity College. We seek enthusiastic and resilient teachers with experience in SEND settings to join our expanding team. We offer a bespoke educational environment for secondary students (Y7 - post 16), all in local authority care. Our main site is in West Wycombe, with a satellite nurture base near Aylesbury. Both sites provide safe, caring spaces and outdoor learning opportunities.
To meet our students' diverse needs, we maintain a staff-to-pupil ratio of typically no more than 4 pupils per class, with staff supporting all needs.
