Senior Design Engineer - outside IR35
ARCA is supporting an aerospace programme to bring in multiple Senior Design Engineers on a contract basis.
These are hands-on roles within an established design team, working across airframe structures on a live programme.
The work:
* Design and development of airframe primary and secondary structures
* CAD modelling and drawing release using CATIA / 3DEXPERIENCE (3Dx)
* Working closely with stress, manufacturing and wider engineering teams to resolve design challenges
* Contributing to design reviews and supporting progression through the design lifecycle
What they’re looking for:
* Strong experience across airframe structures (primary and/or secondary)
* Confident user of CATIA / 3DEXPERIENCE (3Dx)
* Experience operating at design check / approval level is a strong advantage
* Composite design experience would be beneficial
Details:
* Contract: 4–5 months initially – outside IR35
* Location: Bristol with hybrid working
