Weve launched our Current Account and are now looking for more ways to delight customers and differentiate as we move further into everyday banking. We’re looking for an innovative Senior Product Manager to help us think of new, customer facing propositions, test them quickly and iterate to find market fit. We want to transform the Current Accounts space as we have already done with loans, savings, credit cards and car finance, tying together our Zopa ecosystem, with big ambitions targeting over 1m active customers in 3 years time. This role will be crucial to helping us get there so theres big opportunity for some serious career defining impact. This is a highly autonomous, unique role: you’ll have the freedom to identify opportunities, build lean proofs-of-concept, and validate whether ideas deserve full-scale investment. A day in the life • Lead early-stage discovery and development of new propositions for Current Accounts. You’ll take rough opportunities, shape them into clear hypotheses, and design the fastest, smartest ways to test whether they have real customer value. • Work hands-on with engineers and designers to turn ideas into tangible prototypes, low-code builds, or manual experiments. You’ll help the team make pragmatic trade-offs so we prioritise learning and momentum over perfection. • Design and run customer tests that give meaningful signal—pulling from qualitative feedback, lightweight quantitative data, and creative approaches that help you understand what truly resonates. • Collaborate closely with platform, operations, compliance, risk and legal teams to ensure experiments are feasible, safe and can be put in front of customers quickly. • Build strong relationships across the organisation to remove blockers and co-shape the direction of new concepts. • Partner with the Head of Current Accounts to identify new areas of opportunity, decide when to pivot or close ideas, and advance the promising ones into the broader roadmap. The ideal candidate • You’ve spent 5 years in product roles where you’ve built or validated new propositions- ideally in a startup, scale-up or innovation environment. Ideally, you have experience at a Fintech, but this isn’t imperative • You’re energised by ambiguity and quick to turn loose ideas into clear hypotheses and early tests. You’re scrappy, resourceful, and comfortable using whatever tools you need to learn fast. • You can point to meaningful zero-to-one work: MVPs, prototypes, experiments, or early-stage launches that shaped product decisions. • You’re outcomes-focused and operate well as a generalist, dipping into research, design, data and commercial thinking to move ideas forward. • You make decisions through evidence - combining qualitative input, customer feedback and data to cut through noise. • You work naturally as part of cross-functional teams, giving engineers and designers clarity and momentum in fast-moving, uncertain environments.
