The Role:
As an Outreach Worker, you’ll:
· Work 1:1 or with small groups of young people outside mainstream settings
· Support pupils facing barriers to education ( SEMH, behavioural, attendance)
· Build strong, trusting relationships to re-engage learners
· Use creativity and empathy to deliver tailored learning and mentoring
· Be a consistent, positive role model in a flexible, non-classroom environment
What Were Looking For:
· Experience supporting young people (in education, youth work, care, or mentoring)
· A calm, patient, and resilient approach
· Able to work independently and use your initiative
· Strong communication and relationship-building skills
· Passion for inclusion and making a lasting impact
Desirable (but not essential):
· Experience with SEMH, trauma-informed practice, or challenging behaviours
· Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
