Are you passionate about driving positive change in local government? If so, we are looking for a Project and Policy Officer to support Local Government Reorganisation at HDC. In this role, you will play a vital role in advancing LGR at HDC, alongside delivering key Huntingdonshire Futures projects. You will manage projects, undertake research, and deliver reports, working across the Council, external organisations, partners, and stakeholders.
You will manage the Huntingdonshire Futures grant scheme and line manage the Place Strategy Support Officer who administers the scheme. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a long-term impact on the future of Huntingdonshire, its communities, and neighbours.
We are looking for someone with experience in managing and supporting projects, with strong communication skills. Your ability to collaborate effectively across teams and organisational levels will be essential in delivering outcomes for Huntingdonshire.
Flexibility in handling diverse tasks and adapting to changing priorities will be crucial. The position also provides an excellent opportunity for career progression, as you will have the responsibility of line managing a Place Strategy Support Officer.
