What You’ll Do
* Bring literature and drama to life, helping students connect with diverse voices, stories, and characters that inspire understanding and empathy.
* Use creative writing, drama, and performance techniques to ignite students’ love for language and self-expression.
* Encourage students to analyse, question, and discuss texts and performances, developing critical thinking and communication skills.
* Lead extracurricular drama productions, literary clubs, and performance workshops, offering students the chance to expand their skills beyond the classroom.
Who You Are
* A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) with expertise in both English and Drama.
* Someone who views language and theatre as powerful means of exploring ideas, identity, and the world around us.
* A skilled educator able to adapt lessons to engage and challenge students at all levels, helping them find their voice.
