Due to continued expansion, they are seeking a driven and hands-on Electrical Engineer to join their growing team on a high-specification Data Centre project in Helsinki, Finland. Electrical Engineer Responsibilities: * Maintain clear and accurate reporting to monitor progress and ensure alignment with key project milestones. * Review design and IFC specifications and drawings to gain a full understanding of the project scope. * Lead coordination activities to produce accurate installation drawings, working closely with BIM teams to ensure compliance and programme adherence. * Support on-site quality control, ensuring all works meet required technical, regulatory, and project standards. * Review subcontractor and supplier tenders to confirm alignment with technical and design requirements. * Ensure engineering activities, including procurement, are delivered in line with the project programme. * Prepare, submit, and manage all technical submittals in accordance with project requirements. * Ensure all installations comply with project specifications and the QA plan. * Coordinate subcontractor activities to maintain progress and clear communication, including recording minutes from weekly meetings. * Promote the adoption of best practices to improve project scheduling and delivery efficiency. * Liaise with the Project Quantity Surveyor to compile and prepare tender documentation for subcontractors and suppliers. Electrical Engineer Requirements: * 5–7 years’ experience within the electrical contracting industry, ideally with a recognised contractor. * Strong organisational skills with proven experience in project planning and coordination. * Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. * Proficiency in Navisworks and engineering-related database systems. * Experience using project planning tools such as Primavera, along with a solid understanding of CAD and BIM workflows.
