Job Overview
This role supports the safe and effective delivery of site-based nuclear projects. You’ll lead planning and coordination from concept through to commissioning. Your future team bridges engineering, commercial, and construction functions.
* Support the Project Manager across safety, schedule, cost, and quality targets
* Lead multi-disciplinary delivery teams on assigned projects and packages
* Work with Pre-Operations and Commissioning to develop clear requirements
* Maintain project documentation including briefs, plans, and quality frameworks
* Track programme progress and escalate risks or issues as required
* Drive adherence to contract scope, timelines, and deliverables
* Support planning, procurement, and stakeholder alignment activities
* Review documentation, contractor deliverables, and ensure site integration
Qualifications
Essential Skills
* Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering
* Knowledge of APM principles and experience delivering complex projects
* Proven ability to lead multi-functional project teams on live sites
* Awareness of CDM Regulations and UK H&S legislation
* Ability to manage cost, scope, and scheduling in a live project environment
* Strong reporting, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
* Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Fluent in English
Desired Skills
* Experience in nuclear or highly regulated industries
* Knowledge of Quality Assurance and project governance frameworks
* Experience in procurement, contractor coordination, or tendering
* French language skills
* Familiarity with contract frameworks and commercial tools
