We're seeking someone to join our Threat Hunt and Cyber Detection team as a Cyber Security Data Analyst in Metrics and Governance to create and manage cyber data tooling, become a point of contact for cyber data related requests on behalf of the organization, and coordinate with subject matter experts to assist in protecting the Firm from nation state actors and other cyber criminals.
This is a unique role in cybersecurity that blends data analysis, software development and cybersecurity with practical understanding of platforms, tooling, and integration. The role requires communication with a variety of stakeholders from cyber and technology functions at different levels across various regions.
In this role, you will work with Threat Hunt and Cyber leadership to create and manage Cyber Data processes, become the primary point of contact for important cyber data requests on behalf of Threat Hunt, and coordinate with engineers to aid the department in delivering on its mission to protect the Firm from nation state actors and other cyber criminals.

This is a Cyber Data Analyst role at the Director level, which is part of the job family responsible for Cybersecurity Engineering.

What you'll do in the role:
* Provide governance support to existing Cyber Data Platforms and its user community.
* Orchestrate department wide data quality checks and coordinate remediation activities, including but not limited to: attestations and dataset metadata management.
* Work closely with data owners and users to implement data governance policies, improve overall data quality and integrity of dataset metadata.
* Collaborate with teams across all areas of the global Firm including Technology, business units, infrastructure support, Corporate Services/Security and regulatory engagement.
* Manage relationships with external partners and other key stakeholders.
What you bring to the role:
* Understanding of Information Security and / or Cyber Security.
* Experience working for a globally distributed organization.
* Experience using Microsoft Power BI or similar tooling is an advantage but not required.
* Experience in programming / software development is an advantage but not required.
* Ability to identify and highlight gaps in their own knowledge and proactively seek out the information required.
* Capable of synthesizing multiple asks and timelines into holistic, clearly defined milestones and deliverables within a dynamic environment.
* Proven ability to apply a high attention to detail.
* Proven ability to work autonomously and to meet deadlines.
* Strong initiative and a proactive attitude in approach to work. Experience in the financial services sector is an advantage but not required.
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
