An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified Childcare Solicitor to join a well-established, multi-office law firm at its Bradford office. This role would suit a newly Qualified Solicitor with a passion for child protection and care proceedings who is looking to build a long-term career in a reputable firm that invests in its people.
What the Role Involves:
Handling Care Proceedings and related public law children matters
Advising and representing clients in child protection cases, often involving legal aid
Working closely with a team of experienced childcare solicitors
Managing your own caseload under supervision while continuing to develop expertise in this specialist field
Preparing documentation, attending hearings and supporting clients with sensitivity and professionalism
About You:
Newly Qualified Solicitor (NQ) with a training seat in family or childcare law
A genuine interest in child law and a commitment to this area of legal practice
Some experience with legal aid work is desirable
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage sensitive matters with empathy and professionalism
Eager to learn and progress within a structured and nurturing environment
