Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Salary: £460 – £650 per week (depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors for a variety of secondary schools in Doncaster. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to gain hands-on experience in education, whether you’re considering teacher training or want a rewarding classroom-based role.
About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will step in when a class teacher is absent, delivering pre-set work and maintaining a productive classroom environment. You’ll ensure students remain focused, engaged, and well-behaved while supporting the continuity of learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervising classes across KS3 and KS4
Delivering lesson plans left by teaching staff
Managing classroom behaviour effectively
Supporting students with tasks and questions
Reporting back to teaching staff at the end of the day
Job Requirements:
Experience working with young people (school-based experience preferred)
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
Confident, adaptable, and professional approach
Ability to work across different subjects and year groups
An enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to apply)
