TheRole: Our Bagging & Dispatch Manager will oversee the end-of-line operations in the dairy plant, ensuring efficient bagging, labelling, storage, and dispatch of products. This role is critical to maintaining product quality, timely delivery, and compliance with food safety standards. The successful applicant will lead a team of operators and coordinate with logistics, quality control, and production departments. Key responsibilities will include (not limited too): Supervise the bagging of dairy products ensuring accuracy and hygiene. Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime. Ensure correct labelling, weight, and packaging specifications are met. Plan and manage daily dispatch schedules to meet customer delivery timelines. Coordinate with transport providers and warehouse teams for smooth outbound logistics. Maintain dispatch documentation including delivery notes, invoices, and transport logs. ThePerson Our team is seeking an individual that possesses: Strong experience as a Supervisor/Manager from within a food manufacturing environment. Excellent communication skills both verbally and written. Possessa real passion for teamwork and continuous improvement. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office packages. A sound understanding of Health and Safety principles and practices. Experience from within the Dairy industry and/or a 3rd level relevant qualification would be advantageous.
