Full Time Position Starting December 2025
A client primary school in Blackpool (FY1), are in search of a Teaching Assistant to join their KS2 team on a full time basis starting in December 2025. The successful applicant will work in one of the schools Year 6 classes and will support across all curriculum areas. The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting learning across KS2, ideally Year 6, and will have a desire to develop their career in a ‘GOOD’ Primary School. The post is to start in December and will continue up until the end of the academic year, at least, with the possibility for extension for the right person!
The successful candidate will be expected deliver small group intervention sessions to help raise attainment across all core subject areas across the class. The successful applicant will be working alongside the Year 6 teacher to monitor progression and highlight next steps for learning. This larger than average primary school prides itself on ‘making learning irresistible’ and would be an amazing place for a graduate to gain further experience in ‘GOOD’ Blackpool primary school!
Ideal applicants will have:
An understanding of the Year 6 curriculum
A desire to develop a career in education
Experience working with groups and aiding learning on a 1:1 basis and group basis

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
