Role Overview
We are seeking an intellectually curious Mathematics Teacher for a full-time, permanent role. The position is designed for a mathematician who thrives on the academic rigour of the core curriculum, leading classes through complex problem‑solving and abstract reasoning, and ensuring every student is well‑prepared for their next steps in education or training.
Responsibilities
* Lead mathematics classes at KS3 and KS4, ensuring high academic standards.
* Design and deliver challenging curriculum aligned with national standards.
* Support students’ development of complex problem‑solving and abstract reasoning skills.
* Work as part of a department that values technical mastery and fosters purposeful goodwill among staff.
Qualifications
* Previous experience teaching mathematics at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience highly desirable).
* Hold QTS or a PGCE in Secondary Education.
* Must possess the Right to Work in the UK (the school cannot provide sponsorship).
