Van Mobile Mechanical HVAC Maintenance Engineer – London & Surrounding Areas

Salary: Up to £50,000 + Overtime
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Are you an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with strong AC knowledge looking for your next opportunity? Join a leading Facilities Maintenance provider and become part of a highly respected team delivering maintenance services across commercial properties in London and the surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established building services company, maintaining high-profile commercial office buildings and mixed‑use developments.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on mechanical and HVAC systems.
* Service, maintain, and fault‑find on air conditioning systems including split units, VRVs/VRFs, and AHUs.
* Perform mechanical maintenance duties including pumps, motors, pipework, valves, and basic plumbing repairs.
* Complete routine inspections and ensure all plant equipment operates efficiently.
* Diagnose faults and carry out repairs in a timely and professional manner.
* Update service records and job reports using PDA/mobile maintenance systems.
* Liaise with subcontractors and site teams to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently.
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures at all times.
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience in mechanical building services maintenance.
* Strong working knowledge of air conditioning systems and HVAC maintenance.
* F‑Gas qualification desirable.
* Experience working within commercial buildings and facilities maintenance environments.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Good fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills.
* Strong communication and customer service abilities.
