About the Role
To support our plans for continued growth and assist our CI drive, a vacancy has arisen within our Anti Corrosion department for the position of an Impregnation Operator with a specific responsibility to drive success on the daily workload. You will report directly to the TAC Supervisor giving full support to other Supervisors if required.
Responsibilities
* To utilise the cure vessels with specified procedures.
* To use manual methods to set and make safe the impregnation process to the set working standards.
* To monitor pressure and deliver multiple processes through the cycle.
* To work to specifications.
* To read drawings and routings for product specifications of the parts that are ready for impregnation process.
* To monitor and control WO and identifying parts process.
* To reporting variances to the Supervisor of any fluctuation of the process.
* To be a key member of the Continuous improvement team. (EiO)
Person Specification
* Drawing and specification knowledge.
* A clear understanding of engineering principles and practices.
* Works well as a member of a team.
* Good problem-solving skills.
* Accuracy while working under pressure with good organisational skills.
* Ability to project manage their own workloads.
* Excellent time management and organisation skills.
