Your Role as a Support Worker
You will play a vital role in supporting individuals to live independently and confidently by:
9. Assisting with daily living activities, including personal care and household tasks
10. Providing companionship and emotional support
11. Supporting clients to access community activities and attend appointments
12. Promoting independence, dignity, and overall well-being
13. Safely assisting with mobility using Moving & Handling techniques
14. Supporting individuals who may present with challenging behaviour, using a calm, professional, and person-centred approach
What We’re Looking For
15. Minimum 6 months of UK-based experience in care and support work
16. Experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviour and complex needs
17. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
18. A driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred
