We are looking for an outstanding Activities Coordinator with a passion for delivering excellent care. Cygnet Paddocks is our all male specialist neuropsychiatric hospital located in Widnes, in the North West. The service provides a dedicated care pathway for men affected by acquired brain injury or neurological conditions, where behaviours that challenge are the overarching impairment to recovery and rehabilitation. You'll be working 40 hours a week at Cygnet Paddocks. Working times to be discussed at interview. Please note: A Driving license is required for this role. Experienced in health care or similar setting (minimum of 2 years) Able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and proactive approach to working with individuals with complex needs Experienced in planning, resourcing & carrying out events & activities, supporting individuals with facilitating meaningful activities that enhance patient well being An excellent role model who knows what good care looks like Highly organised, with a positive attitude A confident public speaker & facilitator Knowledgeable of suitable activities & pastimes to support mental health service users Positive in your approach to working with challenging behaviours Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
