Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Support Worker to assist early years children with diverse needs, on an 1 to 1 basis including those with autism and disabilities. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing personalised support, fostering independence, and promoting well-being within a caring environment.

Responsibilities
* Deliver personalised support to individuals with autism, disabilities, or special educational needs, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
* Assist with daily activities
* Implement tailored programmes to promote social skills, communication, and behavioural development
* Support children with developmental needs, including toddlers requiring specialised care
* Foster a positive environment that encourages learning and independence through teaching and engaging activities
* Maintain accurate records of progress and any incidents in accordance with organisational policies
* Collaborate closely with families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent support plans are followed
Experience
* Level 3 qualification in early years
* Prior experience working with children in educational or care settings is desirable
* Experience supporting individuals with autism or disabilities is highly advantageous
* Knowledge of special education practices and behaviour management techniques is beneficial
* Previous experience in toddler care or working with young children will be considered an asset
* Excellent communication skills are essential to effectively engage with clients, families, and team members
* A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable individuals and promoting their well-being is fundamental to success in this role
