The Contracts Manager/Projects Manager role involves ensuring the effective delivery of retrofit solutions in line with client commitments to external funders, including projects such as wall and loft insulation, window and door replacements, ventilation, draughtproofing, low/no carbon heating, lighting, and energy installations. Specifically:
* Lead and manage retrofit contracts from inception to completion, ensuring projects meet client requirements, budgets, and deadlines.
* Prepare programmes of work and manage operational delivery within agreed budgets, objectives, and targets.
* Implement and ensure compliance with the company's health, safety, welfare, and employment policies and legislation.
* Understand the contract and company's obligations to meet requirements.
* Develop excellent relationships with client representatives, residents, and all stakeholders.
* Ensure ongoing full compliance of projects/works with Electrical, Gas Regulations, Building Regulations, ECO, and other funding sources, PAS2030/2035.
* Address all client enquiries, issues, and requests within appropriate timescales.
* Manage engineers and sub-contractors effectively, providing support on technical issues and performance management.
* Facilitate team meetings covering performance, operational delivery, health & safety, company updates, and training.
* Conduct site inspections to monitor health and safety, quality, and productivity.
* Check and prepare site reports, designs, and drawings.
* Develop relationships with the commercial team.

You will have
To succeed as Contracts Manager/Projects Manager, you should have 5+ years of experience managing retrofit, construction, or energy efficiency projects, along with:
* Strong knowledge of retrofit standards (PAS2030/2035, ECO), building regulations, and energy-saving technologies.
* Experience from apprenticeship to site management.
* Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS).
* IOSH Managing Safely certification.
* CSCS Managers category.
* Knowledge of Temporary Works Procedures.
* Understanding of site administration methods and practices.
* Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
* Good commercial awareness, including identifying contract variations.
* Excellent knowledge of construction methods, technology, and materials.
* Proficiency with IT applications such as Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, PowerProject.
* HSE-recognized First Aid at Work qualification.
* Full UK driving licence.

The salary for this role is GBP50K+ with a car allowance, bonus, and benefits:
* Car allowance GBP5K-GBP6.5K.
