Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner CAMHS Blackpool (UK) £26 - £30 per hour based on experience

Earn £26 to £30 per hour based on your experience, with attractive and flexible core hours of 9-5 Monday to Friday, and options for part-time or varied start and finish times such as 8am-6pm for 3-4 days or 8am-4pm. What You Will Do:

Manage a defined caseload using specialist knowledge and advanced clinical reasoning to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care programs for children and families.

Engage actively in holistic assessment and treatment of young people presenting with mental health challenges and those at risk of or having attempted self-harm.

Liaise with other professionals and agencies to ensure comprehensive care around the young person and their families, enhancing communication for integrated support.

Collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team to provide seamless and coordinated care.

Offer evidence-based therapeutic interventions in line with NICE guidelines to support mental health and well-being.

Ensure confidentiality consistently, safeguarding the rights of all clients.

Maintain high standards of clinical record keeping, including electronic data entry and report writing, ensuring adherence to professional codes of practice.

Exercise professional responsibility autonomously for the assessment, treatment, and discharge processes concerning children, young people, and their families.

Provide assessment and therapy services that integrate complex data from various sources, optimising care strategies.

Conduct and manage risk assessments for individual children, young people, and their families, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Act as an advocate, facilitating the expression of views and choices for children, young people, families, and communities where appropriate.
