We have a fantastic opportunity for a Courier Driver to join our team based in Hull.
Position Details
We are seeking a Courier Driver working on a 23-hour contract each Saturday and Sunday, from 08:00 to 20:00.
Additional requirements include working on bank holidays on a rota basis, with shift patterns discussed at the interview stage. There may also be opportunities to work extra shifts on your days off.
Role Purpose
The main purpose of this role is to contribute to the safe and timely movement of goods and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out courier journeys to various locations following scheduled routes and timings.
2. Complete digital and manual documentation in compliance with legislation and organizational procedures.
3. Maintain regular contact with the operations office using various communication systems.
4. Ensure all items are kept safe and secure at all times.
5. Comply with the Road Traffic Act and other relevant vehicle legislation.
6. Act as a customer contact at delivery points and relay relevant information to the operations office.
7. Perform vehicle checks before use and report any defects.
8. Maintain a polite and courteous manner with customers and road users.
Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants must:
* Have held a Full UK Manual Driving Licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
* Possess a C1 license enabling driving a vehicle over 3.5 tonnes (3500kg).

* Ability to use a PDA (training provided).
