Position: Warehouse Supervisor
Job Type: Permanent, Full time
Hours: 42.5 hours per week, 10:30am – 8pm (Monday to Friday - no weekends)
Location: Hams Hall, Coleshill
Salary – £33,000 per year
NCF Living is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor for Distribution Centre in Hams Hall, Coleshill. The successful candidate will be responsible for all warehouse operational and supervising requirements.
THE ROLE
As a Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for:
* Overseeing the loading and unloading of furniture - goods in and goods out
* Assisting with the safe and efficient running of the daily operation
* Overseeing order picking duties, ensuring no errors
* Distributing workload to Warehouse Operatives, ensuring the smooth operation of the distribution centre
* Being responsible for Warehouse paperwork - i.e. delivery notes, labels, picking sheets, etc.
* Reverse Logistics – full responsibility for the returns process – checking goods, completing paperwork and liaising with Admin department.
THE PERSON
* Previous warehouse supervising experience is a must
* Understanding of manual handling requirements and legislation
* Focused and well-organised
* Physically able as there will be some heavy lifting involved
* VNA licence desirable, but not essential
