The role: As we continue to expand our UK operations, were looking for a technically skilled, ambitious Sales Manager to promote our fire-fighting vehicles into municipal, aviation, military and industrial fire and rescue services. This is ahybrid role, combining work at ourhead office in Holmfirthwith customer visits throughout the UK and Ireland and trips to our manufacturing sites in Austria and Germany. You will proactively develop relationships with new and existing clients, along with promoting our products and their technical specifications and features. Required skills: Candidates should have a proven record of accomplishment in a sales environment and converting enquiries. They must be passionate about sales, enthusiastic and highly motivated with excellent communication skills and the ability to build long lasting business relationships. Strong commercial awareness, good organisational skills and with the ability to effectively manage their own workload is essential. A background in engineering is desirable due to the technical nature of our products and experience of local authority procurement tendering processes would be advantageous. Prior work experience within a similar industry would be beneficial. Key responsibilities: Promote our full fire-fighting vehicle range Provide new and existing customers with technical information regarding our products features and benefits Completing competitive tender bids through various electronic portals Demonstrate products as required Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential customers Provide monthly information regarding the current market climate and developments Organise and encourage new ideas and processes to increase company performance Manage your own diary ensuring you are out and meeting new and existing clients Achieve agreed sales targets Continuously strive to improve performance in customer service and service effectiveness The package: Permanent / Full-time Role 37 hours per week 25 days holiday allowance per annum plus stats (increasing with service) Company Pension scheme Company car
