Job Responsibilities

Deliver a rich DT curriculum across KS3 and KS4—including resistant materials, digital manufacturing, and CAD/CAM integration.

Guide students through real-world problem-solving: designing, prototyping, iterating, and presenting solutions.

Lead and inspire participation in STEM challenges, maker fairs, and sustainability projects.

Oversee workshop safety and maintenance—ensuring tools, machinery, and PPE are well-managed.

Collaborate with local industries and colleges to provide work placements, employer links, and enrichment opportunities.
Ideal Candidate
Your qualifications include a DT or engineering background and QTS, plus strong experience in workshop delivery and teaching digital design tools.
