This is a full-time permanent position based in the Solihull area.
Your new role
As General Foreman, your responsibilities will include:
Supervising and coordinating subcontractors and direct labour
Planning daily and weekly works to achieve programme milestones
Ensuring strict adherence to health, safety and quality procedures
Managing permits, inspections and method statements (RAMS)
Driving productivity, quality workmanship and site discipline
Supporting a positive, collaborative and safety-first site culture.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you must have:
Proven experience as a Foreman within the civil engineering industry, ideally on large-scale infrastructure projects
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Excellent knowledge of construction processes, equipment and safety procedures
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS and First Aid
Full UK driving licence.
