Job Description
The key responsibilities for the Front of House Receptionist is:
* Serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors at reception.
* Manage incoming and outgoing post, deliveries, and telephone enquiries.
* Provide administrative support, including meeting preparation, mailshots, and document handling.
* Assist with data entry, logging, and reporting using Excel.
* Type and format documents using standard company templates.
* Maintain office supplies and manage stock ordering.
* Support the Investment Managers with diary management and client communications.
* Coordinate incoming secretary requests via a shared task inbox.
* Assist with internal tracking tools such as business pipeline and reporting spreadsheets.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate for the Front of House Receptionist is someone with the following:
* Previous reception and telephone handling experience.
* Basic to intermediate Excel skills; comfortable inputting and managing data.
* Accurate typing and ability to use standard templates.
* Experience in a secretarial or team assistant role preferred.
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
* Able to work collaboratively within a team and maintain a positive team spirit.
* Proactive, helpful attitude and strong communication skills.
* Eagerness to learn and adapt, with training provided as needed
