Job Description
This role is for a Systems Implementation Specialist based in Southampton, focusing on designing and implementing core systems like ViewPoint to enhance service offerings across the Group.
Responsibilities include:
1. Interpreting accounting and administration requirements to design system solutions.
2. Handling service requests and incidents via support desk or project enhancements.
3. Monitoring and reviewing service delivery, ensuring timely updates.
4. Reviewing work of junior team members for quality and consistency.
5. Conducting system testing, reconciliation, and documenting changes.
6. Creating training materials and test cases.
7. Communicating effectively with team and clients.
8. Supporting project development, testing, and deployment of system enhancements.
9. Gathering requirements and developing reports for group-wide solutions.
10. Collaborating across departments to deliver beneficial solutions.
Requirements:
* Previous experience with ViewPoint.
* Strong knowledge of financial services industry.
* Advanced MS Office skills; familiarity with Transact-SQL and Visual Studio.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Problem-solving skills and a methodical approach.
* Genuine interest in technology and systems.
* Strong academic qualifications (A Level or Degree).
